Project-C Pre Alpha

I had the opportunity to work on Project-C and develop the Pre-Alpha that we launched and invited players to experience.

One of the goals for the Pre-Alpha was to define our art style which we eventually labelled 'Distilled Reality'. My responsibilities as the Environment Artist on the team primarily involved building and defining our open-world terrain pipeline to achieve a non-destructive workflow. This involved being able to update the terrain at any point in development and procedurally place assets in the world, as well as generate the weightmaps for the terrain based on rule sets using Houdini.

I was also responsible for the world building, set dressing, materials, lighting and modelling.
