I had the opportunity to work on the name reveal trailer for Life Beyond and helped drive the development of the biomes that were showcased in the trailer. Everything is fully procedural and non destructive, meaning the map can be updated at any point during development.
I oversaw construction of the Grassland biome and was responsible for testing our open world tool to ensure that it could deliver any sized map. I was the main point of contact for this biome and created a variety of textures, landscape shaders, assets and helped drive the development of our procedural open world tool with the Tech Art Lead. I was also responsible for setting up our cinematic camera shots for the trailer based on storyboards. All assets had to adhere to our art style, following the rules of shape language, surface detail and colour usage.
