Excited to share some of the work I've done for Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
I was part of the environment art team and was responsible for world building a large majority of the game, as well as asset creation, optimization and bug fixing.
Mask Maker is one of my favourite areas. Littering the environment with masks and iterating with Mike on what we should use for the shrines as well as how we can make them visually striking as well as visually clear to the player for gameplay purposes was extremely fun. This level was massive and I had a hand in every part, and this was one of the first levels I was responsible for dressing and setting up the deadzone dressing.
A huge thanks to my Lead Julian Vermeulen, and Art Director Mike Grier, for their continued feedback and support, as well as everyone at the Ember Lab. Special thanks to Josh and Mike Grier for their vision and the opportunity to work on this wonderful game that we all helped bring to life.
